I was not going to be partial or too controlling of comments and participation on this site, but since I am going to be accused of it anyway, I am going to.  Please keep all comments to facts or questions.  There will be no more toleration of personal attacks or degradation of character.  I advise you to leave your email address so I can communicate with you regarding your comments if I need to.  That will ensure you get posted.  Not a requirement, but if you think your comment will be edited or not posted and that matters, then leave it.  The comments left during the short pause will be posted soon.  The Del Tucker/ex-wife situation is done.  She has posted a response, and I am sure none of us know the life they had, or situations that occurred, prior to that incident that may have led up to it.  It is actually unfair to both of them for us to continue to, or bring up their personal life any longer.  Let's just agree to vote for whomever you want for whatever reason, that is your right, just exercise it.

Political topics:  All comments and questions to political candidates will be kept to the information they have left on the elections website, printed in the newspaper or responses here.  If you have a personal issue with a candidate, or want to express why you will or will not vote for a particular candidate, then use adjectives like morals, integrity etc., like bloggers like Matt has used, no more hateful comments.  I am hoping that more county-wide candidates will come forward and participate, but I know it will not happen knowing how things have went so far.  To all candidates, if you decide to come here, I will keep the comments and questions fair and considerate, and will keep the personal stuff out of it, unless it is a factual response to a comment you made, or something in your bio or platform that is untrue.  I am sure being in the public eye and running for a public office is daunting and intimidating by itself, so I will honor and respect those candidates here, whether some like it or not.  Saying that, I will post a new blog for Del Tucker to post his ideas and accept questions since the other has went opposite of its intentions and got out of hand (my opinion).  I offer the same to all the others, or if you just want to post your bio and ideas with no comment, I will do that as well, and close the comments, but still expect people to post their feelings on your ideas or qualifications, whether you come here or not.

I urge all of you to open new discussions about different topics other than political, even though that is the focus of the nation right now.  The more topics, the better the it will be.  Thanks to all and I hope we can work together to make this site what it should be.
