You can now submit video and voice recordings for posting on TaylorCountyTalk.  Both can be played with the player on the sidebar, just click it and it will open in another window.

Video-on-demand posting instructions and rules:

First, all videos will be examined for content before posting.  Videos must be no larger than 100MB in size.  Keep your cameras with you and be creative.  Anything relevant to Taylor County, for example, wasting tax payers dollars, questionable activities by county government, exceptional behavior or actions, etc., but not limited to that.  Not looking for birthday parties, family fun or such.  You are welcome to record a statement on video regarding relevant issues, including county government.  Please include your user name you want posted on the site with the video and any relevant text/comments you want included with the video entry.

Video formats are Windows Media Video (.wmv, .asf), QuickTime (.mov), VI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DV (in AVI containers only), .3gpp (mobile phones) and FLV.

Podcast (voice) posting instructions and rules:

First, all podcasts will be examined for content before posting.  Please no curse words, defamatory or slanderous comments, no illegal recordings.  If you are talking with someone or asking questions, please make sure the necessary statement is at the beginning regarding notification of recording.  Please state your user name at the beginning of the recording.  Podcast can be no larger than 100MB in size and in MP3 or MP4 format.  Don't really care what it is about as long as it fits with the site.  Some of you may like it and want to do something regular like every week regarding a certain subject or some may want to post about regular local meetings.  Give it a try.  Please include your real name, your user name you want posted on the site with the podcast and any relevant text/comments you want included with the podcast entry.
