USER NOTICE
First I want to say that any users that have not read the rules of using TaylorCountyTalk, or may have forgotten them, to take the time right now to read them by clicking here. I read them again to make sure I remember them as well, and it clearly states one of the very few things I ask of each of you. I am very adamant about how and when the use of names is appropriate, and I am very clear about using this site for your personal issues with someone; I WILL NOT TOLERATE IT. You will not intentionally humiliate or degrade someone's character or their family.
I am posting this notice because I came on a few minutes ago to review the day's posts and to say I am upset and extremely disappointed is an understatement. A couple of you were completely out of line and I am sure intelligent enough to know you were. By using this site as your attack device for your personal issues, not only interrupts the flow of the topic and insults the adults trying to have a genuine discussion, but it completely degrades this site and its intended purpose. To be frank, I will not allow this to happen. I, among others, have put a lot of time the past two years building the integrity of this site and I will not allow all that work to be ruined in just a few days. I have been extremely lacks and flexible in the past few months, but that is changing as of now until we can get on the same page again. One thing I will not do is go back to having your comments moderated before they become live, because that will punish those that follow the rules. What I will do is ban you from using this site. I have done that before, but I do not want to do it again. I want everyone to have access to use this site as intended, but I will if necessary. Some of your posts could have warranted you being banned without consideration, but I wanted to give everyone the opportunity to read the rules and give themselves the option first.
For many of you, this does not apply, and please know this is not directed at you. For the couple of you that it does, please respect the rules. I don't ask for very much at all. I have closed a couple of topics until I can thoroughly review all the comments. They will be brought back online once I am done, and I apologize for having to do this. I would also like to ask that you keep your comments relevant to the topic.
