The statute information answers one question for me. To represent their constitutes they must first assure the public that they are able to understand why they voted the way they did without taking a serious look at the statute or asking direct questions to their counsel. Sometimes I wonder whether some commissioners can find their way home following a meeting. Just how many issues are decided pre-meeting. He is presently employed by TMH as is the dir of nursing and finance director. I do not know if the plan is written yet. I would guess TMH will be the referral hospital, but there could be more than one. If I worked for anyone providing indigent care my employer would be in line for a piece of the pie. The powers that be know that, they know if they just keep quiet, the citizens will soon lose interest, and they can do what they want to. I doubt the tax increase will pass, but don't expect a lot more discussion about it, I don't want to talk to myself, nor do you, and since we're both on the same side on this issue, we will only agree. 125 comments is really quite a few, it's the most popular topic on the web site, I feel I've learned a lot about the tax, and we've seen what several of our citizens think about it too. The closer we get to the election the more traffic this site will get. I am encouraged that you are now on the DMH board, I hope you can accomplish something with the hospital, they MUST learn to live with what they take in. I believe the average citizen would be shocked at the total amount, and the constant need for more. Mr. Brynes:
