I wonder what funds were used when they "settled". Given the fact that the Chamber is a membership dues organization, were member dues used? Given the fact that the Chmaber gets funds from the City and County, were tax-payer or any other public funds used? Given the fact that the Chamber administers the bed-tax funds, were bed-tax funds used? Given the grants the Chamber always seeks, were grant funds used? I hope none of the funds listed above were used, the Chamber members, tax-payers and others need to know. It is my hope that the little band of retardlicans passed the hat and came up with funds to "settle", but I doubt that with all of these wal-mart retardlicans we have runing the Chmaber. This is something the tea-baggers need to come out and protest, using funds for the mistakes of our leaders, when everyone should be spending resources on retaining and creating jobs! Way to go community leaders, another drunken feather in your cap, you look foolish, all of you!

The word out at the sports complex, is that Glen guy steped in and got everything settled for the Chamber, boy that sure saved alot of time and trouble for the elected officials and board members in this town, Thanks Glen you saved the county some money there.

All of these doings for 3-4 years and not a peep out of the "local newspaper", why not send that kid with the deer rifle from school over to that "local newspaper" and let them print his non-story as well. The "gal pals" have made a lot of money over the years. I would not trust the clerk's office. Get it out of the county's hands to a private individual or group and then if money is stolen the individual responsible can be arrested. These "gal pals" have likely invaded the cub scouts or some other group, they will not go far!

I heard this afternoon that the case had been "settled". I guess this means all of the mental defectives and retardlicans (our community leaders) can save face. I was so looking forward to going to Tallahassee next week and watching the retardlican convention in the Leon County courthouse! I guess we will just have to be entertained by new Chamber-TCDA-BOCC-City fiascos. I think the powers to be should take this opportunity to clean house at the Chamber and other places and we as voters should replace these fools this fall! Where are yoou tea-baggers?

I saw in the paper the County is taking bids for someone to be concession manager for the baseball season, but where was the bid for the spring soccer concession stand operator ?

Did the two PAS Soccer ladies who run the soccer program get that job and that gate money automatically? I think those two gal/ pals have a monopoly on the soccer stuff.

I feel city should run the soccer program like it does little league and flag football. That way it will be fair, for our tax dollars getting what we pay for. Right now we have to pay the gal/ pals and the admission for what we already paid for with city and county MSTU funds.

Grant funds might have helped pay for it, but maintenance money comes from the city and county, no matter what Cox, Brown & Brown and associates say. Also Grant money comes for Tax payer money too. We are not fools. Nothing is for free.

The gal / pals are getting rich racketeering the money from the hard working families, because the recreation department won’t do their job and handle all sports in the recreation departments

Either do it all or shut it down. Stop the fringe benefits to the Privileged Gal / Pals they are ruling the soccer fields like little Hitler’s.

Saying who can use the facilities, and what people have to pay . The poor families are getting hit hardest, because they have to pay the most. $35.00 for outfits, $50.00 for shoes ,and everyone MUST buy their shirts and uniforms from the two GAL / PALS. No exceptions either. WHY is that?

The recreation department furnishes a uniforms now for flag football and T ball , why not soccer? Is the city manager or recreation department getting a cut from the Gal / Pals fortune machine?

Call your council man or woman and your county commissioner. Jack Brown and Bob Brown do not run this city or county , They may be allowed to…..

NOR do they need any more money. ** In my opinion , they get there 3-5 % each year regardless if other county employees get any raises, check the real books, ** in My opinion you will have to get a search warrant for the real books from the administrators or Chairman’s office not the ones they turn in to the Clerks Office . (speaking as an opinion only (**freedom of speech act, not a accusation)
** In my opinion Those two ( Brown (county) and Brown ( City) ) and the two gal pals will shuffle the money CASH Money off the books, that is why it is call splitting it 50/ 50.

If the Clerk of the Courts office is involved it WIL BE HONEST. Call your elected officials NOW before Spring Soccer season starts or your children’s money will be used un-wisely.

Recreation Department is already out there as referees, why not have them manager the concession stands too, that will create a part time positions and all the money stay between the city and the county. Close the Gal / PALS Organization DOWN..

Well if there is not an accounting of the money, it will be the same scenario as school site accounts, band booster funds, football booster funds, ect.... the money will be stolen, mis-used and mis-appropriated. The county and others have already mismanaged the facility before it even sells the first hotdog. The county should hire someone to run it and get out of the way. Heck they are operating this like they have DMH over the years.

I heard there is a chartered bus that is taking everyone to the Leon County Courthouse on Monday morning. I would love to go to Tallahassee and sit in the courthouse and see all of these potentates and charlatans from Trailer County waiting to be called as witnesses. It is going to be a who's who's of local mental defectives, including the plaintiff and defendant. LOL!!!! A ship of fools sailing out to sea!
