Page Announces 2012 Re-Election

According to the Taco Times, dated Wednesday, January 11, 2012, County Commissioner Malcolm Page (D) announced that he will be running for re-election in District 1, County Commission.  If elected, this will be his third term.

Mr. Page was quoted saying that he will “…remain committed to the same basic conservative principles…honesty and transparency in all facets of government, conservative spending of taxpayer dollars, job creation for our citizens…”, along with no ad valorem tax mileage rate increase.

I don’t expect anyone running against him again this year, but how do you feel about Commissioner Page’s job performance so far?  Do you think he accomplished or at least attempted to carry out any of his conservative principles the says he has been committed to during his tenure as District 1, County Commission?
